Business Stuff
My goal in any business deal is a triple win: I want to make enough money to keep growing trees. You want to get quality trees at a good price. We both want trees that will grow well in their new home.
Some would say I don't have good business instincts. I'm too naive. Too trusting. They're right. I'm a throwback to when much business was done on a hand shake. Both sides would feel honour bound to do the best that they could to meet the agreement. If something happened both sides would agree on principle what would split the hassle. We are in an industry that depends on the whims of nature, and we are dealing with living things. I do the best I can. If I make a mistake, I'll try to make it good.
I've found that when I deal with trust, people trust me. When I trust people, they seldom let me down. I do ask that agreements be in writing. That way the terms aren't subject to lapses of frail memory.
I'm probably a sucker. Better than than to live in a fog of suspicion and intrigue, trying to stick it to the other guy first.
Anyway, this section you will find my pages about prices and inventory, and ordering and all that.
